I had the most amazing opportunity just drop out of the blue, or at least out of my email. I’m heading to the Middle East.

Specifically, I’m going on a tour of Jordan for 10 days. It will pretty much cover the whole range of the country from the capital city of Amman, the Dead Sea, Petra, Mt Nebo, Bethany Beyond the Jordan where Jesus was baptized, Aqaba on the Red Sea…and stops between at an Eco-lodge & deaf ministry.

I’m very excited and not really sure what to expect. I’ve been reading & looking up all I can on the country & region, but I’m sure being there will be a whole different thing.

The things I’m most excited about are meeting new people & culture, Mt Nebo, the Dead Sea, the food & coffee & the desert. I’m excited for a fresh God perspective that you only get from a big change.
